086A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Knowinmeknowinyou, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on the right hind post race.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Knowinmeknowinyou, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

S. Foley, rider of Altura (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the puller up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J M Sheridan, rider of Knowinmeknowinyou, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, in relation to his riding under Rule 216.(ii).(c). Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his filly is known to change legs frequently at home, that she ran green and felt intimidated down the rail today on her second run, but felt sound through the early stages of the race. However, he stated that she then changed legs again and did not feel sound, so he pulled up. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action other than to advise J M Sheridan to pull up in the first instance.

W.J. Lee, rider of Serendipia, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had to check off heels after the three furlong pole and bumped into Freedom And Light. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

086D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Heritage Stakes

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final two furlongs involving Norwalk Havoc (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed third, Lord Massusus, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed sixth and Tokenomics (FR), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fourth where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that his mount became outpaced and that he felt slight pressure. G.F. Carroll stated that he felt a little pressure on his hind quarters from Norwalk Havoc. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount overreacted to the wind when he pulled out to make his run and drifted slightly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

086E Irish Stall. Farms EBF Med. Auc. (F) Mdn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Bang Bang, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, Lady Kelly, ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, Miss Romagna, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed sixth and Moon Aura, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, where it appeared that things became congested. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that he was following Lady Kelly and took back when things became congested. B.M. Coen stated that he felt the whole field swung out and then back in, perhaps because of the wind, but was unaware of the incident. W.J. Lee stated that the whole field moved back across to the rail and things got tight for room, so he took back. S. Foley stated that he took a check and tried to maintain his line when the field moved across. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted other than to remind B.M. Coen of his responsibility to be aware of those around him.

W.J. Lee, rider of Miss Romagna, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check in the home straight.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.A. Harnett, rider of Coolangatta, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced in the early stages, then stayed on one paced in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight, where it appeared that Bang Bang, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, had to sit and wait in the straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

086F Horseware Ireland Student Derby H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ciaran Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Baila Conmigo, placed second, as compared with its last run. Ciaran Murphy stated that his charge did not handle the track last time out in Bellewstown and was more suited to the big galloping track today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the report given.

086G FM104 'Giddy Up' H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Vega's Muse (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thru And Thru, trained by Rory Anthony Devine, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Diego Lima, rider of Senna's Girl, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Diego Lima was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

086H BuzzBallz H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Andrew Slattery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Exceeding, placed first, as compared with its last run. Andrew Slattery stated that his charge was brought back a bit too quick to run and drawn on the wrong side of the track in Navan and that his may have brought about today's apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the report given.
